Now that you mention it, I don't think I've EVER seen that game anywhere. I see tons of Ghosts to Glory, but never any army of zin.
 
I got one from my Blockbuster used. It's in great condition though. I've seen maybe 3 copies at my TRU, which are probably gone now.

I'm somewhat interested... My TRU doesn't have it. They didn't have Lifeline when it dropped in price either.

Great price on soul caliber, I was hoping the GC version would be 10 since it has link. Now I have to decide if I really want it. These prices will last for a while/possibly forever right?
 
How is Sabrewulf? I've been thinking of picking it up for a while, and the price is certainly appealing enough. Anyone here played it?

I make this kind of post too often. I really need to begin trusting reviews more ofen...

Does BB pricematch, because you could get Manhunt for $11.98, Maximo 2 $8.98, and Sword of mana for $14.98. That would be sweet!

Are you talking about GGC? Because some stores won't let you combine it with a price match, and even if they did, it is only for games $19.99 and up.

Just a heads up for you guys. Some of these could be YMMV. TRU tested a new system over the summer that I think is in effect now. Each individual store will be getting mark downs based on how an item is selling at their store. For example, if store A sells a ton of Turoks for $19.99, the price will remain at $19.99, but if store B hasn't sold any in a long time the price would drop lower to something like $9.98, and if store C sells them but not that often it would drop to $13.98. This is to move out old merchandise faster in stores that can't sell it and it will save TRU money in the long run. They tested this over the summer, and I believe it is now in effect.
 
I have been wanting to get Sword of Mana (Even though I technically allready have sort of as Final Fantasy Adventure) for a long time glad it's finaly dropping. Missed out on getting it for 10 at the last BB drop. Checked 3 stores with no luck.

That game is TIGHT. I got it the day it was released. I'll warn you tho, the game is HARD AS fuck. Really fun and original tho, don't pass it up at that price.

I was wondering why the prices were so screwy (usually the markdowns are to $29.95, $19.95, etc).

So, what you're saying is that some of these games may actually be lower in price than what the OP listed depending on the store?

Or, alternately, higher in price. Optimism is good, but don't live by it. You'll just disappoint yourself in the long run...
 
Hell yeah dude, I have th elast copy of Maximo 2 on hold in the back. It just dropped to 20 fairly recently and I was already ready to buy it but 13.98 sounds alot better. Also are any of these prices green tag prices?

Thanks for the heads up tubtub, but I don't think my TRU will be one of them with the higher prices. It's IMO doesn't sell tha much, maybe except around the holiday season.
 
The PS One LCD screen will, also, be dropping to $64.98 for many of the stores who still have them. There are a lot more price drops, too, but as I said above it varies depending on which store you goto now.
 
I hope the Psone combo drops also. I just wish they were green tagged. The Psone screeb for 69 bucks still seems expensive unless it is green tagged.

So what tubtub is saying is on Thurday there will be some YMMV price drops? Guess I might go check it out cause I eas gonna get a GBA mega pack anyways.
 
Anyone knows if Seven Samurai 20xx is good enough for $19.95? I know the reviews for it weren't too hot, but sometimes at $19.95, a so-so game might be a worthy pickup. So I just want to see if anyone has played this game can tell me if it is worth $19.95. Thanks in advance.
 
We are able to check other stores to see what they are selling certain items for, so I'll see if the LCD Combo is cheaper anywhere else on Thursday. They tested this system over the summer which was why Eternal Darkness was $50 at most TRUs and a select few had it for either $36.98 or $24.98.
 
Thanks tubtub. One more thing, does anyone think the black GBAs will drop sometime soon? You know, since DS is coming soon.
 
Tempted by Manhunt, Tenchu, Sabrewulf, and Seven Samurai 20XX are all very tempting. It's a shame I have no cash. It's a shame that it's not Manhunt for PS2, only because I have the PS2 headset from Karaoke Revolution but don't have the XB headset since I never went live.
