Tube Tvs. am I supposed to look for something specific or are most of them the same?

CAGiversary!
My old tube crapped out so I need a new one. I'm a poor college student so thats all I can really afford. Im not really that picky, just as long as it has a clear pic and my ps2 can work. lol What am I supposed to look for or will any ol tube work?

I believe my Wal-Mart is going to stop selling them sometime by the end of this year.

I had a Emerson for over six years that worked very well, but the s-video connection is overused and with the slight bump it loses signal. Outside of that great TV.

They actually have HDTV CRT TVs out there but they are so damn expensive and out of production which is a shame.
I doubt you'll be able to find many small tube tvs, you might have to go with a small LCD TV.
Craigslist FTW

OP, just look for red, white, yellow plugs. If you can see those (and they work) you should be good.

He's obviously not talking about a new one, they're more expensive than LCDs. And when it comes to CRTs, you're only looking for 3 things. Size, normal or flat screen and component or composite. I picked up a 27" Sharp Flat screen for $50 at a yard sale. Even had component, which looks WAY better than composite, even on a CRT. Just go Craiglist shopping, and see what you can find.
