Twisted Metal PS3 NEW Wal-Mart $19.99 YMMV

CAGiversary!
I was at Wal-Mart earlier today, I noticed that Twisted Metal was in the discount bins and rang up as only $19.99

I actually hesitated to get it thinking it was the new retail price, but all of the sites I just checked still have it marked at $39.99 retail price.

Check the bins and even the case at your local store, do a price scan and maybe it'll ring up at this price for you.

This might be chain wide. because I saw a few copies in both of my stores last night. and they did not had any kind of clerance sign.

I have seen this at four different Walmarts in the Minneapolis area. I bought a copy at this price about two weeks ago. It is in the 19.99 section in all the stores here.

Is it worth it? Haven't played a Twisted Metal game since TM: Black back when that game released. Just got my new PS3 last week.

I was wondering the same thing. It does have local 4 player which is pretty cool. Also, I don't think any DLC was released for the game, so it's complete, and no risk of a double dip, which I would consider a good thing.

Just picked it up at my local Walmart, it was still marked $39.96 and is the limited edition with the free Twisted Metal Black. Very nice!

edit: I just opened it up and it had an instruction manual for Saints Row the Third. What the fuck? I wouldn't mind normally, but I'm out an online pass :(

Edit 2: there was also a gamestop receipt in it, cool, I bought a used copy that was resealed and sold as new. Thanks, Walmart.
