Two men planned to assassinate Obama

Cowart and Schlesselman are charged with possessing an unregistered firearm, conspiring to steal firearms from a federally licensed gun dealer, and threatening a candidate for president.

Yeah i was wondering about that myself. Where are the charges for conspiring to kill the 88 students and 14 others?
 
Not surprising at all. Obama could be our first black president. There's a lot of skinheads out there that don't want that to happen. I honestly can't figure out why Obama doesn't live in a bulletproof bubble.

I'm sure most presidents get a ridiculous number of death threats through their term that we don't even hear about.

I don't know - this is pretty damn serious. The fact that these guys may be mentally incompetent doesn't mean they couldn't have done real damage.

Oh, I'm not saying it isn't serious. I'm just saying that it's probably not uncommon for anyone in that kind of position of power to receive a lot of death threats.

All it really takes is one jackass and a little luck to create a tragedy.
