Typing of the Dead 2 revealed

What's old is new again, always.

Kind of odd seeing Sega cash in all of its cult classics all at once. First Nights, then Samba, now Typing of the Dead.

I wonder if a Streets of Rage game isn't too far off at this point?

What are they doing with Samba?

I wish they would make a Crazy Taxi 4 games since Crazy Taxi 3 was a horrible way to end the series

I've been waiting for a new Streets of Rage game forever. I would fucking kill for a new one (as long as it was actually done well).

I just remember something was announced, I think for the Wii.

I think Sega is throwing us that Crazy Taxi comp on the PSP to hold us over for now... I agree though, we do need a 4.

I think he's referring to Samba supposeably coming to the Wii (source: egm - rumor mill)

But wow.. ToD II, that's awesome.. if it's brought to the states...

Hmmm...I'd have liked to see it based on HOTD4, rather than HOTD3, but, eh, whatever.

Splash Golf looks a bit iffy, but decent.

And oh, boy, a PSU expansion. Just what I didn't want.

I LOVED the DC version of Typing of the Dead, I may have used it to keep my typing speed up in high school when I was training for FBLA Word Processing competitions (completing ALL the challenges in challenge mode would do that...), of which got me my one of the only two plane trips I've ever had, to Nashville (hooray for Typing of the Dead to get me a sponsored stay in the Gaylord Opry resort for the FBLA national convention, woot!).

Gosh, those Japanese folks have to type out some long ass words/phrases to get those zombies dead.

Looks a little odd as they're getting shot up so much.

Oh well, I loved Typing OTD part 1 in the old days very much.
Fun, and educational.

In my eyes, Sega now has the potential to redeem themselves.

Was there any sort of save system in the first? I never understood that.

Oh, wow. This is awesome. Good job Sega, especially if you make Typing of the Dead 2 just as good as the first.
And is that a normal non green eyed Sonic? Can't tell from the You-Tube video. He's a bit taller than the original Sonic, but his legs don't look super stretched like they were in Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360.

In my opinion, they should give you the option of using a lightgun with typing of the dead.

I get that it is a cult classic niche type of game, but not everyone grew up enjoying mavis beacon teaches typing.

If you want that, buy House of the Dead, not Typing of the Dead. Although it would be nice if the two were combined into one game.

Yeah, thats what I meant, if they were combined it would be gravy.

Not sure, but is typing of the dead 2 just HOTD3 with typing, or is it a new game with the same engine?

We had someone go through and translate the article for us and found out it's HOTD3 with typing.
