UK Government to break into homes over parking tickets

This isn't really mind-blowing, but I find it an exquisite period at the end of a trend of gun-control and knife-control laws in Britain, and hopefully, to any history-deprived children who still cling to the delusion that fascism is a disease that affects only the Right, it will be abject proof to the contrary.

Imagine if that were to happen here under a Republican administration...

I, for one, would at least be happy that the Republican administration was so stupid as to not disarm us before kicking down our doors.
As is that. Define "fascism".
That the government has declared itself the right to kick down your door for unpaid fines?

I'm not suprised. A friend of mine who lives in Leicester, England, says that everywhere you look, there's a security camera, and now they're installing microphones and loudspeakers to the cameras as well. :[

I'm from the Uk and I doubt this has got a snowballs chance in Hell of getting through Parliament.

The UK is the country where the Government didn't have the balls to ban fox hunting and if you're drunk driving and kill someone you'd be unlucky to get much worse than a 6 month driving ban.

Never gonna happen.
