I'll post pics later once I have a chance to scan in my receipt, but I was able to get Star Ocean for 27.99 after my 44% raincheck from target with no problems, thanks guys!! Couldn't have done it without your insights.

Dijital[/quote]Congratulations! I too am just now discovering the joys of the Target raincheck. I used one for the first time last week and got Zelda 4 Swords Adventures for $26.88! Now be good and don't abuse it. :D Spread the love!

Wow.. congrats on that. Enjoy those rainchecks while they last though, the local Targets around here are already phasing them out. Most of the new flyers no longer have SKU's to get a raincheck issued from customer service, nor do all of the rainchecks have the price substitution policy on them.

i could of got it for 24.50 using a 51% off rain check but got Nascar 2005 instead i try to limit my rain checks to about 1 every 2 weeks or once a month

man nascar 2005 sucks lol

i might get it this weekend Ebgames said they give me 28 credit for it i can do the 39.99 price match so it would be mostly like trading nascar for star ocean

Hey, at my Target they actually ask HOW MANY rainchecks you want when you ask for one. Is this standard practice, or is my Target just reeeally cooperative? I mean they're practically BEGGING you to abuse the policy. I mean how likely is it that a person would legitimately be intending to buy more than one copy of the same game? Unless of course he was a reseller, which I would assume they frown upon.

Anyway I've been bahaving myself and just getting one check per game. Although next time I just might take two, since they always OFFER to give me more.

They always asked me how many I wanted in the past, they've just stopped issuing them altogether recently.

There does seem to be some inconsistencies on rain check policies . . . if they are heavily exploited, they may vanish.

You can only get one when a on-sale game goes out of stock during the sale . . . no big deals this week!

I picked up Pikmin 2 for $28 on Wed. using the raincheck from FFX2 on sale last week. Planning on buying Sly Cooper 2 for $24 ish when it comes out

man raincheck person called someone cause i didnt think they was going to give it to me they said they might be changing it to this

FF x2 was 29.99 now 16.88 or 41% off right

u can sub another game for that 41% off but that game has to be 29.99 or less

cause they was only taking a hit of 13.11 on the ffx2 game when u use it on a 50 game their hit is 20.50 per game

what totals 7.39 per game x 100 game say thats 739.00 bucks they r losing

My shaq-fuing target didn't put them out yet. I told the guy it was released Aug. 31st and he said he'll check it out. It sucks because the Target has them, just not out to purchase yet. I'm worried though, because he still had NFL Street underneath the cabinet also...........

Bingo. I was able to use one of my FFX-2 rainchecks today to get the same deal on Star Ocean. The sales guy in electronics was cool about it and said, "Wow, you can really get some good deals with these rainchecks."

I'll be visiting that Target again in the near future ;)

good job man. I paid $39.99 for my SO3 at CC as I used my FFX2 raincheck a couple weeks ago (when FFX2 was still on sale) for Front Mission 4 and got that for $16.88, then went to the Target that had FFX2 in stock (as I did really want it, not a raincheck) and got it for $16.88 when it was still on sale, so 2 games I really wanted I was able to get for cheap.

Yeah, the sales guy that I used my raincheck substitute on was pretty excited about it, said he was gonna get Hot Shots Golf Fore on his break with a raincheck. Pretty cool guy.
