I don't understand these replies about playing against people who play it all day. I try to play two of each gametype each day (to get the unlocks for the retail game), three if I can get on later in the night. I'm still able to play well. But the complaint I don't get is how people seem to be surprised that there are people online who play to win. I play every online game aggressively, as I don't enjoy losing.
You still have to earn kickbacks. They're not given to you at the start of the match. That's what I'm not understanding here about the complaint. If I'm already unlocking kickbacks early into a match, the other team isn't playing well.
The hardcore game I described previously was in a match where my teammates were all below level 20, and the opposing team was all above level 20. I completely agree that it's unfair to place players with such high rank discrepancy in a match against each other, especially in a game where ranks deliver unlocks to use in games. They should only allow ranks 10 (or even as high as 15) to play against lower ranks to allow for more balanced gameplay.
But to solve the kickback issue, if [bad] players stop dying, [good] players will stop getting kickbacks. It's that simple.
But again, some of us playing these modes/games just want to play it to experience the game and NOT to 'get a win' or 'level up' and just don't give a shit about stats, rank or level.
To me there are more important things in life than winning at some online game, which is why I try not to play the 'organized' modes on games that often anymore. If I do, I still play the way I intend to play.
Yet more often than not I've had people(apparently very serious players) wanting to kick me from games for 'not playing right'. I guess if you're playing deathmatch you're supposed to run across the map at each other guns ablaze, even though there are cars/trucks that are drivable that you can use to aid you.
Of course, I also tend to use those vehicles in deathmatch to aid in getting kills. I drive around people trying to kill me and I shoot at them while they struggle to keep up.
To me that was both fun and allowed me to get kills, which is something that I likely would NOT have been able to do too frequently without the assistance of a vehicle.
Basically what I'm saying is, you play your way and I'll play mine, but not all of us are going to have a coronary if we don't level up.
