Unexpected refund from Buy.com / Google Checkout

Ok, this is really weird. Remember in late 2006 when Google Checkout was doing that $20 off of $50 orders at Buy.com? Well back then I had ordered Zelda: TP and a book. With shipping and the discount the total was $41.87. This was in November of 2006.

Both items shipped to me shortly after, however my order history only said that I was sent the book and for over a year now it has said in Google Checkout that my videogame order was "processing". I didn't worry about it since I already had received the game.

Now today, January 9 of 2008, Google Checkout sends me an email saying my full order has now shipped and that my credit card has been refunded $33.07! WTF is going on?!?
 
Hey, I'm not complaining. ;) This was just all so unexpected seeing as I placed the order in 2006.

i just got the same thing. Got $29.99 sent to me. My order was Twlight princess and Lumines II back in November 06.

Totally confused over the matter, as they were both sent to me with no problems back then, although they did take awhile. I sent e-mails to them asking what was up during that time and never got replies. My initial theory was that they finally got to them and were sending this as an apology. But I really have no idea.

I never got a 2nd e-mail though. On my Google Checkout page, it says that buy.com shipped my order today (Jan 9th 08). If they send me another TP, that would be something. Plus the refund.

But obviously, as long as I'm not charged anything, I don't care. I'll take whatever they want to give.
