Ok, I know this is a super super longshot.. but if anyone knows of any excellent prices on the US rare rez ps2 game please let me know. I doubt I'll ever get it, but it doesn't hurt to try.
Hey I lucked out and found a sealed copy for $80 and traded in some fodder and got it down to $50...so its not impossible but in most cases, stores will know its value...I would recommend the store availibity link on the GS site http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=938360 you never know who might trade one in near you
I understand the rarity of the game and being made by Sega and it's very original.
That being said I probably wouldn't even pay $20 for this game. I've played it quite a bit, it's fun for like an hour then it just gets old.
But something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If horse dung was hyped up enough it would go for $300 a brick on Ebay.
The game sucks and I'm glad I only paid $15 at TRU for it. It is a little different situation though cause REZ is worth a lot more but its definetly all hype, its a bargain title, fun but still a bargain title.
Thanks everyone and yea.. I might have that rez copy =) I already talked to the manager about it. He's probably going to get a lunar 2 copy for me too and use his discount.
I bought my copy of Rez for $26 which I thought was a good price for the game. It's a pretty fun experience but it's short and you'll appreciate it more if you are into "electronica/techno music". If you hate electronica music, skip this game, it's not for you. Is it "worth" $80, IMO I do not think "ANY" videogame is worth more that it's original MRSP of $50. That's my principle and it what keeps me grounded from buying $80 copies of Suikoden II and Valkyrie Profile.
yea I agree w/ that but at the same time it's nice for people who do need the money.. and sometimes $80 is a good price lol. Some people end up paying $100+ and the sealed copies can run up to $200

Sealed copies can go for that much? Wow, I have a sealed copy that's been sitting in my backlog for almost a year. I got it for $25 at one of the CC sales a while back. I've just never gotten to it. I have way too many games to play. Guess I shouldn't open it.
