I tried it but it still lets me only put one 3DS on a single ID. Sucks for those with multiple devices.

This is my biggest gripe with Nintendo's eShop.  They really should let you use one account for all of your devices and play games on any of the devices.  They could limit you to playing the same game on only one device at a time if they want, but why?  Amazon, Apple, etc. don't do that with their apps.  Why is Nintendo making it so hard for those of us with a family of devices?
