Xbox 360 Premium used for $275. I thought it was worth mentioning.

For those that might be wondering Fortuna Liquidations is a legitimate place. They're located in Buffalo and I've bought tons of stuff from them through their ebay and Overstock auctions over the years. This site has only been up for a month or so but everything I've gotten from them has been great.

I don't see any warranty for this on their site (which I've never heard of). I'd say this sounds like a bad idea judging by how iffey the 360s are brand new for some people.

of the 9 ppl (including myself) with 360's, 8 of ours have died from the 3 red lights of death. Do yourself a favor and get a new one w/ extended warranty if you're even thinking about getting this console.

Ditto. I'm about to ship my second one. The refurbished that MS sent me has lasted not even 3 months :bomb:. It's the most unreliable console I'd have ever own and I got pretty much everything since the PS1.

Anyway I still love my 360 for the awesome games. GOW, Dead Rising, PGR3, GRAW are worth the Ring of Death scare.

Agreed. Buying new from Overstock is like $50-70 more. I say it's worth it to get a new console and MS 1 year warranty.

Is Microsoft gonna fix their quality control issues with the 360? I have had an Xbox forever and it still works great. It even works better than my PS2 (which has occasional DREs).

I hope when they start selling later this year the 360 with 65nm Xenon CPU. I think the reliability issue is due to overheating or simply bad design.

You've now cursed yourself.

I've had mine since launch and it just decided to die a month over it's 1 year warranty. Good thing I bought the extended warranty.

I also used to think it wouldn't happen to me ....
