Just a quick question, I recently ordered a Samsung LCD (4061) that has a VGA input. I noticed it also has an audio input for the VGA, but I can't tell what type of connecter it is. 2.5mm? 3.5mm ? Single RCA? Anyone have any idea?

Every VGA audio input I've ever seen on a HDTV is the standard red/white RCA jack style. That Samsung shouldn't be any different. You can probably look it up at Samsung's site.

Well Mogamer, I would have to say that you haven't seen that many HDTVs then. The standard is 3.5mm, because, quite simply, that's the connector at the other end (the one that jacks into your PC), hence the easiest solution. Mine may be LG, but I've got 3.5mm too. 2.5mm is like... iPods only. At least, here in the UK.

RCA doesn't sound too probable, simply because it would require an adapter.

Well I own two HDTV's, a 46" Sony and an 37" Olevia. They both have the red/white RCA style jack inputs for audio. Maybe it's different in the UK than here in the USA or things may have changed in the last year. But I looked at quite a few HDTV's before I bought mine and they all had this type of input for pc audio.

EDIT: I looked over some new HDTV's at some websites and it looks like Sony, at least, did change their inputs. They now use two mini-jacks instead of two full size RCA jacks for PC input. Sony still uses r/w RCA jack input for their one HDMI input for DVI-HDMI conversion. Olevia still hasen't changed though.
