Ok. Friend gave this to me a long time ago. Found out its kinda collectable so its a shame I have it (since it doesnt mean that much to me) Anybody really into FFVII and want one of these? It is in NO WAY mint (or else it be on ebay) The pages inside are good, the cover has a bit of a bent cover and lightning looking crease(s). If you keep your guides in plastic bags under lock and key, its not what you're looking for. However, if you are big in FFVII and have always wanted to have one of these to say you have it, maybe it will be right up your alley.

Wow. There must be something special about that poster. Seems every darn ebay auction has somebody asking about it. Whats the deal? Does it grant you the ability to fly? :p
how is this guide compared to the brady guide. if i wanted to guide to play with rather than collect would the versus guide be a better choice?
Only if you got more money than sense. :p Seriously though, I like the official better (which I have as well, maybe could trade to ya.) Seems the materia table in the versus one is awesome but when I was buying a guide back in the day, I felt the Official one better. Just my humble opinon though.

thanks for the info. i would be interested in the other one if you ever wanted to trade it. well... good luck with the versus guide.

Damn, supadupacheap, that rare guide thread went up about five minutes ago! You're welcome!

Anyhoo, I feel the Versus book eclipses the Brady version in every way.
Absolutely for the FF VII professional (whatever that means...)
Better design, better content. Hands down.

wow is it really worth something? I have one in decent condition with the poster! Best part of this guide is the art and the weapon pictures.
Is the Brady guide still in print? Because a local store is still selling it new for $15.
Most ebgames still have it for $15.

Probably. I just remember at first skim the official looked better. But yeah, youre right, now knowing what I know (of the game system, etc) the Versus is probably the better of the two. However, the Brady isnt shabby at all (one of their best guides ever) and will get you through the game without problem.

Versus = better and for the collector
Brady = Good, does the job. Cheaper.

I used to own the book, I own the poster only now, one of the sweetest posters I have ever owned, I need to get it laminated.

Eh, I've been meaning to make another run through FFVII. Maybe this guide would inspire me.

PM me so we can discuss pricing. I'm not going to sell the farm to get it, mind you, but I might be able to take it off your hands.
