so i havent had my 360 hooked up to this set for a few months. i left the vga cable attached.
i hook the 360 back up my tv auto detects a signal and switches to the proper input but says the input signal is invalid. i hook it up to the same set with component cables and it works fine. any ideas whats going on?
if it matters i had my 360 runnign with a different set of vga cables on a monitor.
im lost as to what to do.

Maybe it's still outputting a resolution which you were running on the other monitor that you're TV can't accept. Hook it back up to the monitor, change the resolution to whatever your TV uses, and then try again?

Yep, I'd say change your resolution, too. I remember that not too long ago there was an update that was supposed to address some VGA issues--maybe this screwed up your VGA particular connection?

All I know is that my TV won't work when it has my Xbox hooked up in the VGA port. It's a 32" Westinghouse.
