I have an ATI X700 Pro PCI Express card and am using component video out. On my old video cards, the image would be adjusted on the TV out to fit the size of the tv screen. Using the new card, only the upper left-hand corner of the screen is shown and you have to move the mouse around to see a different section of the screen.

I have tried to adjust settings on the display section but nothing seems to work to make the image fit the TV screen. Any help would be great.

I downloaded the latest version of catylist and have dropped my resolution down to 800 x 600. It reduces the amount of movement required on the TV but it still won't display the entire image. My computer will not allow a resolution lower than 800 x 600.

When I used my old video card I was using S-Video out instead of Component out. I don't know if this makes a difference but can't tell since the S-Video port on my TV is fucked up.

Yeah that whole "internet isn't ment for tvs" thing was pretty accurate. If you have an HD tv you shouldn't have as much of a problem.

Older tv models are generally 640x480 so unless you have something made past 2003 (just to be sure it's hd-tv enabled and thus capable of higher res) or your vcard supports that resolution then you're shit outta luck. If you have a fairly new tv, however then the issue might be with your vcard's component out.
