Video Game Journalism and Early Copies? Suggestions?

CAGiversary!
Hey everyone. Been awhile since I posted out here, but I wanted to really express my thanks to everyone who posts all of the great deals. They are really helpful.

My twin bro Ryan and I do some video game journalism as we run GameVerb, etc.

Recently, we received Forza Horizon 12 days prior to its release and followed all embargo dates, etc. We like to cover games in a professional manner, with good info - even if it is a simple video walkthrough.

I was wondering if anyone that was knowledgeable could perhaps lend me some advice. As we follow embargo dates to the letter, does anyone have any good suggestions on how to go about receiving games a few days prior to release?

Thanks for your help. By the way, anyone getting AC3 or Need for Speed: Most Wanted today? They both look incredible! :D

thats cool, I do some youtube videos also and I do reviews but havent done one in a while. I have yet to receive an actual disc copy of a game to review but I did write for a website that had Risen 2 on steam and I got to play like 4 or 5 days early. I guess just don't talk about the game on twitter or anything like that if there is an embargo for that game. But that's about it I guess, just get into the game and play it and take notes as well because I often forget to add some things into my review that I forget to. You just have to act like its no big deal getting a game a week early and thats it I guess. I'm getting AC3 and Need for Speed on ps3, I like Burnout games alot and Im not big into racers, I just love the arcadey aspect of it. Hey if you guys need another reviewer or writer pm me :) I don't have a real job so I'm always home everyday and that allows me to play lots of cool stuff and review them also.
