Vita Troubleshooting advice?

^ Considered removing the battery, but it looks like I have to disassemble the system to do so.
Don't want to bother with that since the system is only about a month old and easily still under warranty.

Not to mention the fact that it's now after midnight. I'll probably leave it and see if it's still blinking at me in the morning.
 
There's a thread on this over at GameFAQs. The guy solved it by holding the power button for 20 seconds- not sure if that's what you meant by soft reset?
 
Holding the buttons for any certain length of time idn't work, but it finally died overnight and I was able to get it working after recharging and then starting again.

Happy it's working again, but not too thrilled that when it happens again, I'll have no recourse aside from waiting hours for it to basically reset itself.
