Voice in XBL/PSN

CAGiversary!
Hey I have a quick question and you guys are probably the best to ask. Back when XBL launched pretty much everybody had a headset so you could count on the people you were playing with to have voice. This was pretty cool (I didn't run into a lot of the stereotypical swearing 8-year-olds).

So I was just wondering how this compares to XBL today and to PSN. My guess is that a much smaller percentage of people have voice on PSN, but most people still have it and use it on XBL. Or is voice really popular on both? What is your experience?

From my recent games of Halo 3 on XBL I have not found many people to use the headset. The headsets for me are usually uncomfortable, and I'm confused on how to put it on actually... It's not even worth putting on. I don't know if they have better quality headsets, like two speakers, and a good quality mic. If they have one, could anyone tell me?

From my personal view point, I haven't found many people to use mics on Halo 3 now. Although it may be different for other games. Usually Halo 3 is now played like cavemen, people try to tag along, but eventually split up and well get owned, by the ones that do team up... Go figure.

That doesn't sound too good. Didn't every 360 Pro come with a headset?

I'm pretty sure they do have headsets like that, but they're third-party.
