Does anyone know the no receipt return policy is at Wal-Mart? My younger brother got 2-3 games for his birthday; which were purchased from Wal-Mart, but he wants to return those games to get a DS Lite. I have already done 2 returns without a receipt at Wal-Mart, so how more returns can I do before they blacklist me.

I read an article that Wal-Mart allows only 3 returns w/o receipt every 45 days---but I not really sure of this---it seems a little bit lenient.

I know Target allows you only two returns without a receipt every 12 months.

I have a dumb q... is that three items in a 6 month period? I have one more no reciept return and my gf bought me some simpsons discs I already have. Any chance of returning all 3 on my last no receipt return?

Target allows returns without the receipt? Does this work on games too?

yes, but when i returned games [ i bought the DS Lite bundle from TRU and exchanged both brain games ], i couldn't get a giftcard. they had me pick something up of equal value on the spot. i went with Mario Strikers.

[quote name='tbizzy1o1']Doesnt matter how many items per return. Just three returns per rolling 6 mo.

Are you positively sure about this. I found this info (article dated July 12, 2005) over at washingtonpost.com:

The new return policy changes only for a customer who has returned more than three items without receipts within a 45-day period, she says. "The cash register system will automatically flag the transaction, and a customer service manager . . . must approve the return."
