Wal-Mart sells out of PS3 online bundles in minutes

Wal-Mart on Tues. sold out online bundles for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 after customers swarmed the website at noon.Sony will drop the PS3 to U.S. retail on Nov. 17.
Pre-orders for the PS3 Customer's Choice Bundle went live at around 12:30 p.m. PST and included an additional Sixaxis controller, memory card adapter, choice of 12 game titles, and two Blu-ray disc flicks for $1,421.98

The product page disclaimed that the bundle was limited to 1 per customer and that the PS3 console will arrive on or just after Nov. 17.
Most online retail divisions are not offering PS3 pre-orders due to the low launch allocations for the unit.
GameStop Corp. on Mon. said it would be able to fulfill only 60% of in-store pre-orders and will not begin online pre-orders until those are fulfilled.
Amazon.com told customers on Mon. that it will not offer pre orders for the PS3 due to inventory constraints.
Retail stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, and Target will sell the PS3 on a first come, first serve basis this Fri.
