When I was working tonight, I went online to the Wal-Mart Wire, found some a Wii/PS3 Playbook(No, not that Wii/PS3 thing you get for free). I printed it out, and took it home(and fixed a paper jam along the way so I can bring it home)
I do have paperwork too prove this, and I have a friend with a scanner, so, if you may wish, I can scan some(But not all!) pages...
Well, I looked into it, and I found this...
Wii:
Software and Accessories are not street dated, you can put those out upon receipt(So, if some walmarts put out games before the release date, you can purchase them... maybe...)
Planning to sell 3 additional items for every Wii sold...
Price is $249.24(WOW, 75 CENTS CHEAPER THEN ANYWHERE ELSE!)...
Wii Sports is Disc only...
On 11/16, Wii product will arrive Direct to Wal-Mart stores.
Same day, the Accessories for Wii will be set out
At 10PM on 11/18 will pass out Tickets for midnight sales...
Start selling Wiis on 11/19 at 12:01AM
With the printout I got, there were 50 Wii Tickets, but, the amount is unknown for what walmart is going to get, yet...
PS3:
Planning to sell 3 additional items for every PS3 sold...
The only items that are street dated are the hardware items, all software and accessories can go the sales floor and be sold.
At 10PM or earlier on 11/16 will pass out Tickets for midnight sales(Better get then about two weeks before said date...) Then on 11/17 at 12:01 AM they will start selling PS3s
11/9 PS3 Peripherals will start shipping to stores...
11/11 PS3 Interactives will be in final install stages at stores...
11/14 PS3 Software will start to ship...
11/16 PS3 Arrives in stores...
Hmm, it saids that Resistance: Fall of Man is using a HUGE amount of space on the Buy-Ray disc of over 16MB!!!!!!11!111111!!!!!!one!!!
The amount of space on both PS3 in each hard drives are(Because of System software(2GB) and also formatting(10% of drive)):
20GB - 16GB Free space 60GB - 52GB Free space
Looks like the PS3 can play back the most popular media files, such as Jpeg, and AAC...
There are 50 Tickets for each version, but I doubt there be enough for the use of all of them...
I can let you know about more information later on in the coming weeks, but, for now, thats all the info I have that is new...
Hope you like the info!
