If you do go the ebay route wait until disgaea 2 comes out...people seem to suddenly want a game once its sequel comes out..

after you click Edit, click the "Go Advanced" button that comes up in the bottom right corner of the edit window. then you can change the title.

Yeah...I sold the sealed one and one of the near mints on eBay. I still have 3 near mints and 1 with water damage to the case insert. I can also add $$....

Yeah...that is all that is wrong. Ill take some pics and post them up later. I think all my near mints are sold except for one. They went for $65 each on eBay. $95 for the sealed ones. I have one more near mint one but I am prolly going to sell it in combo with the guide.

Haha dude...Im sorry. I been scowering eBay for something I wanted and I got a new Musicians Friend and it my friend said I should get the PRS SE Single Cut because it would be more suited for what I want to play.

I still havent ordered it yet or anything....Is there any way you can get me pics of the other guitar? I dont really like buying things that I cant see...lol

The PRS is like $549...not too much.
 
the SE singlecuts are quite nice. I own a tremonti sig (singlecut, $3,300)


sure, theres a drastic difference, but for that price range, its pretty good
 
I need to buy an amp. Are the single cuts better than just the SE Custom PRS. I like the way they look better kinda......but my friend (He has a $3000 Suhr) said that the singlecuts were better.
 
Singlecuts are DEFINITELY more sought after. I think they are the best PRS has to offer. For me, the heavier weight makes for a distinctive "heavier" tone. I personally love the tremonti signature pick ups as well.

I tried about 40 PRS guitars out before i bought mine. I have yet to regret the purchase
 
Yeah....I was unsure. I was going to buy an American Fender Strat but he said the PRS would be better for what I wanted to use it for. I wasnt sure. What kind of amp you recommend?
 
the cubes are supposed to be very nice starter amps.

I used to own a mesa mark IV, then a mesa triple rectifier


I now use a Krank revolution 2X12 combo
 
The amp he told me to get was the Blonde Hot Rod Deluxe by Fender. He said it was the best thing in the musicians friend magazine I had. It costs like $600 though...
 
Oh...I have only played like 1 semester at college. I bought a Squire Fat Strat and a Fender Bullet 150 amp there. I thought it was time to upgrade to something better.

actually, for the size and price, you'd be hard pressed to find something better in that price range.


Obviously, the best amps are crazy expensive, but im giving advice on the most bang for your buck :cool:
 
i use an old Randall solid-state half-stack. everyone hates it but me. i play industrial/ebm mostly (that doesn't even use my guitar), but i still like the hideous brittle and cold quality it produces.
 
you should just keep your fat strat and get a professional setup. i still use my pos kramer/gibson pacer that i bought brand new for $100 lol

amp > guitar IMO
 
One of my friends recently got a PRS and is very happy with it.

Another option I recommend is look at mexican versions of fenders. I'm a bass player so don't know much about guitars, but I bought my mexican jazz bass for $350 new, while the regular american versions retail for 700+. Of course you need to try each one individually because some will play like the price tag, some (like mine) play as well or better than most of the American versions.


As far as amps go, yes it is more important than the instrument to an extent, but a good amp is far more than you're willing to spend I suspect, and it isn't worthwhile to get a mid cost amp. They make some great pedals/electronics that cost far less than a middle of the road amp yet work far better (which you get depends on what you play and the sound you want)
