i know i know.. this isn't v-game related.. but I'm looking for new Magic cards (IE Champions of Kamigawi and Betrayers sets) i'll pay for lots.. but i won't pay for singles.. perfer a nice mix of RARES and UNCOMMONs.. with minimal common cards...

ill look at want lists if you want to trade V-games for it.

Where is your list? I have none of the newer series you are looking for, however, I do have OLD magic rares. Such as Ali from cairo and stuff from legends, unlimited, ice age, dark. Like I said, OLD really rare stuff.
 
Rabid I would be happy to trade VGs for older Magic stuff. Please PM with your trade list. I don't have much newer (t2) stuff.

Man, if that's considered old now... it really has been forever since I've played. Ice Age are the newest cards I own. I always figured my alphas and betas were considered "OLD".
 
bump... i have a lot of old cards i've been playing pretty much straight for 7 years now.. its just i missed out on the last two expansions because of v-games and my buddies just got me back into it. i have a play set (that means 4 of ) every set from Ice Age to Fifth Dawn.. i'm just looking for some of the new ones to play with some friends.

I can understand that completely...
I had quit playing just about right after Ice Age came out, and then picked back up playing during the Mirrodin Block due to a couple of coworkers that played.
 
I have a feeling the cards you'd want lots of most people wouldn't want to hand over at "lot" prices. (Champions Dragons Cycle, Kumano, Cranial Extration, etc.)
 
i have some cards and i'd like to get rid of them

i only own two theme decks of Betrayers.... I just want some cards so i can build a deck for Type 2.. yeah those cards people wouldn't let go of anyway.. especially that amazing Cranial Extraction.. but.. there are a lot of other cool interesting cards in the block.
 
Go to a card show and buy yourself 4 Rats Nest Precons. If you can find them for around 7, you're getting a good deal.

In the Rat's Nest precon, you get one of the best rares out of the betrayer's set...
Umizawa's Jitte. This card itself usually commands about 5+ dollars at card shows, and is selling for 10+ on Cardshark.

Depending on the deck it is in, it can get almost stupidly unfair, as if the equipped creature does damage at all, you put on 2 counters, which can turn into +4/+4, -2/-2,
4 life, or any other combination of the abilities. While it may not fare as well in constucted, if you manage to get one of these in limited, you basically win the game if it ever hits the table.


But anyways, Make up a list of the ones you do want. If they aren't the higher tier ones, I may have some around that I'm not using.
 
depends on how seriously you are, i do have alot of MTG cards...

If you want quick collection, how about 200 uncommons, and 100 rares, for 100 dollar worth of video games? (the rares are all one dollar rares) Ill throw in some free commons too...
