i'm looking to buy a very cheap broken playstation 2. i dont mean smashed are picked apart, just one that has a Disc-Read-error or doesn't register a controller or memory card. looking for one under $30-$40.

Well, I have one that's in tact, but doesn't work. Basically, there are DREs and the ribbon cable was accidentally pulled out so you can't turn it on without installing a new ribbon cable. It's still good for parts though.
