Want to get a 360 what store offers the best return policy?

Looking to get a new xbox 360, but im worried about getting one of the many problems I read on the forums and having to send it in to MS.

What store offers the best extended coverage policy, ie Best Buy Circuit City ToyRus Sears would they just give me a brand new system if I had the coverage and the system stopped working or I wanted to "upgrade" to a newer chipset model?

I always go with Best Buy for extended warranties as they dont give you any fuss and let you swap it for another in store.

The cc warranty required me to mail the system in and i got a gc weeks after...

I believe that they no longer offer the lifetime warranty. My store said that any 360's purchased now only contain a 30-day warranty.

On electronics, due to customer abuse (trading in a TV bought five years earlier to get a new LCD) I believe it's 90 days now, may be shorter for game consoles.

This policy change did not cover game consoles at the time, and I've since had to exchange my 360 (RRoD) without a change in those terms. If a new limit exists for the 360 at Costco, it is a newer change.

Anyone have any info or link as to a new policy?
 
well i know for a fact BB "Product replacement plan"(as they like to call it) covers normal wear and tear damage EG the RRoD
 
When I bought my TV last summer, I was told that the Costco Warranty is 2 years ONTOP of the manufacturers warranty...but maybe the guy didn't know what he was talking about.
 
Costco's return policy only states that "we guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund." The length of time that returns are accepted is up to the individual store manager. Most of them used to allow virtually unlimited returns, but ever since the company-wide 90-day restriction started for certain electronic items, many of them have cracked down on other returns as well. I was told at my local warehouse that returns are only accepted for one year after purchase for everything other than the 90-day items. I would check with the customer service desk at your Costco to be sure of the local policy.

They do extend the warranty on TV purchases. The return period is only 90 days, though.
