Wanting to buy an LCD TV

amazon was good to me. no tax or shipping and i saved about $1500 off retail. definately a good place to research and get pricing ideas at least.

Best Buy this week has a 20" 720p LCD HDTV monitor / DVD Combo unit for $399.99

Next week (2/25 - 3/3) they've got a Magnavox 20" LCD HDTV Monitor / DVD combo for $499.99 and a Sharp LCD TV for $329.99
 
Why not just get a TV tuner on your PC and buy a nice 22" computer monitor? You'll spend more money and get more surface area than opting to buy a small LCD TV.

You can find 22" widescreen Sceptre monitors for $300, while a 19" widescreen Samsung can easily be found for less than $200.
