Warning: Local Best Buy (MD) offering EXPIRED Gamer Gift Cards

Just a heads up that my local Best Buy put out a whole bunch of gamer gift cards ($5 off 19.95 and up kind). I was excited until I saw that the coupons expired in 2003. I don't know if this is happening at any other Best Buy's, but if you do see the GCC, take a moment to make sure you're not getting an expired one.!

yea they got tons of them here that expired in dec 04 (the coupon)

Chances are they still honor the coupon. My store still sells the giftcards, so they honor the coupon.

Just grab one of the giftcards and ask to talk to the manager.

True. I forgot to mention that I usually buy the card on a visit other than the one where I use it. I've stockpiled quite a few now. Still, I think it's a pretty lousy way to do business. (Lest we forget that this *is* Best Buy).

Best buy is pretty flexible with prices. A while back they let me use a 10% off coupon for tv 3 weeks after it expired.

Actually I am pretty sure the coupons never expire, and they will still honor it if it is expired.

These coupons explicitly state an expiriation date. The gift *cards*, however do not expire.
