Website to ask math questions from my textbooks?

I have a probability and statistics class and I'd like to be able to bounce ideas off other people for my homework problems, does anyone know any good math sites to use? And yes I have some from google, just want to know if people have other favorites?

I found yahoo answers to be semi useful. I use it for random things more recently some calculus help. Sometimes when I am bored I answer calculus and cisco networking questions.

Not exactly what you were looking for but that is just my personal go-to location website for help.

I've never actually asked a question, but that one math one run by Drexel is a pretty good source of info, so I would imagine they're pretty good at answering questions.

www.wolframalpha.com is good for checking your work (or just getting the answer) for most math things. I use it often to double check my differential equation solutions.

What kind of syntax do you use for differential equations, Chibi? Do you just indicate derivatives with primes and then pass the equation your solution?

for example y"+2y'+2=e^x http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y%27%27%2B2y%27%2B2%3De^x
I've never had to do anything above a second derivative, so I'm not entirely sure how to do higher order. Edit looks like you can just do successive ' for a second (instead of ") and up

Also, on the right, there is a "Examples by topic" link that will show you how to do most things. Unfortunately, it can't do PDEs yet, but they're working on it.

My buddy pointed me at wolframalpha also, I just didn't know how to type my questions in, maybe I can find it with the examples you showed. Thanks
