Weren't there other "Get the game Early" or "Early Release" AAA games that were just as buggy and unplayable as Star Wars: Outlaws?
I seem to remember a few years back there were a couple of other games, where if you pre-ordered or bought a certain version you would get to play it up to a week early.
I just can't remember what those games are to be honest!
All I remember they were a choppy mess, and it took a day 1 patch on their official release date to make them stable. Which to me feels like these "Early Releases' as just mostly stable betas, and not actual release candidates.
I remember one now, Gear 5!
It was so buggy during the early release that it wasn't playable until the official release date, not the early one that people who bought the deluxe version played.
