What games are you planning on picking up come launch day with youre 360?

For me:
Kameo
Perfect Dark Zero
and maybe GUN

Most likely won't get a Xbox360 till next year, But DoA4 is the only game I really want right now, So I will most likely get it with it.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Need For Speed: Most Wanted (it's coming for free)
Kameo
Perfect Dark: Zero
Quake IV

and probably a couple of more games if they are available at launch.

I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I'll get one but if I do, I'll probably get Perfect Dark Zero and then get Saint's Row when it comes out.

Since Elder Scrolls IV isn't an option and they still haven't confirmed Perfect Dark ... nothing, apparently.
im getting my Xbox 360 on release day and i am getting
Quake 4
Call of Duty 2
Condemed
DoA 4
NFS: most wanted
Gun
I'm pretty sure Condemned was pushed back, but I'll be picking it up as well when it comes out.

The only games that seem confirmed for release are some EA sports titles and NFS Most Wanted. With the console 3 weeks away you think they would have a much more detailed list of launch titles.

Same thing happened with the DS and PSP. Games we thought would come out on release day (A week before launch) were pushed back a week, a month, or months.

I have Kameo, Top Spin and Oblivion paid for, but we'll see how many of those I leave the store with on the 22nd. Being in Canada doesn't seem to help the cause for getting games when they're "supposed" to be released in the first place, so I guess we'll see.

I'm not getting a system at launch. If I do decide to pick one up next year, I'll get DOA4 and Ridge Racer 6 (if a PS3 version hasn't been announced, as I sort of expect it will be). Might get Dead Rising as well, looks like a good zombie game.

wasn't there already a topic about this? I swear I did this before

for me

kameo
cod2
pd0

and a couple others I am on the fence about

Im not too sure anymore and still unclear on what games are coming out.
I'll probably get:
Call of Duty 2
Perfect Dark Zero
The green swirly faceplate also.

But like I said in the other threads about the same subject that im gonna have to see some reviews first before I waste my money.

We should start getting reviews fairly soon...maybe as early as next week? I'm interested to see how Kameo and GUN fares. Tony Hawk is another I'm interested in as I have not played a Tony Hawk game since 2X

Ok, since there seems to be confusion about what the launch titles actually are...

CONFIRMED BY MICROSOFT- Project Gotham Racing 3 (although there are still rumors it won't make it, guess we'll see), Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Madden 06, NBA Live 06, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06, FIFA 06

CONFIRMED BY THE COMPANIES RELEASING THEM- Gun, Quake IV, NHL 2k6, NBA 2k6, Top Spin 2, Call of Duty 2, Amped 3, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Condemned: Criminal Origins

Now, according to the respective companies those will be out on day one, but since Elder Scrolls IV was on that same list, as is now not coming out until next year, take all except the first 8 with a grain of salt. Several are missing that most likely WILL be out as well (DOA 4, Ridge Racer 6, etc.). The only ones of those I think may not make it out day 1 are Top Spin 2, Amped 3, and maybe PGR3. Those are just guesses though. As for what I'm getting... Quake 4 is preordered, and has been for almost 2 months. Considering several others as well (Gun, Kameo, Condemned), but I won't really choose until the day, most likely. Although if the box version of gun gets a good review, I will probably preorder that as well.
All Microsoft published games are $49.99.
Which means PGR3, Kameo, and PD0 (normal version) at launch.

I've been planning on camping for 2 systems on launch day. One at midnight and one in the morning. I just did the numbers and DAMN Ebay and Paypal are going to make a killing off this.

The follow is based on if you listed and sold the premium system BIN for $550 + $50 shipping:

Ebay fees $21 (didn't copy down the specs just the totals)
Paypal fees $17 2.9% + $.30 flat fee
shipping $37
(shipping info:
Priority Mail $27.80
Signature Confirmation $1.80
Insurance (Insured for $600.00) $7.20
Total : $36.80

Sample used: large package, 13 pounds from KY to CA. Shipping probably will be a little cheaper but not much. UPS or Fedex would also be an option, but be sure to require a signature.

$600 (assuming an auction of 550 + 50 shipping)
- 424 System cost
- 21 Ebay fees
- 17 Paypal fees
- 37 Priority Shipping w/Signature Delivery Confirmation
------------------------------
$101 Profit

With Ebay already flooded with preorders I'm now wondering what the going rate will be at launch........

Just did a search:
630 items found for xbox 360 premium

other than the games that are in my pre-order bundle (Kameo, Madden 06, NBA Live 06), I hope to get Condemned and Perfect Dark: Zero.

Xbox 360 Premium Console $400-$440 with warranty
Kameo-$50
Project Gotham 3-$50
Perfect Dark Zero-$50
Call of Duty 2-$60
Condemed-$55
Nba 2k6-$60
Quake 4-$60
X360 Wired Controller-$40
Play and Charge kit-$20

Total Spent-$885 before tax

Damn way to much money but after my Eb trade in deals bullshit I rougly spent about $300 cash for $900 worth of crap so I ain't complaining.

So far I have paid off:
1. Premium 360
2. Madden 06
3. NBA 2K6
4. Call of Duty 2
5. Project Gotham 3
6. Plug and play kit

I'm probably going to pick up at least one more title on launch also. I can't decide :bomb: between Perfect Dark, Tiger 06 and Condemned.

just curious all these first and third parties game when you saw launch titles do you the day of launch or do you mean the huge window of time they say is the initial launch period?

According to the lists supplied by the publishers posted on Gamespot: day of launch. As I stated though, several of those are iffy, and one (Elder Scrolls IV) which they had listed, was already pushed back, so take it with a grain of salt. Also, again, there are several potential ones missing (DOA4, Ridge Racer 6, etc.).
