What are your phobias?

Cyborger

CAGiversary!
We all have them and it's kinda good to get it all out in the open. I think that I have a few strange phobias that many other people may not have.

- My bed in my room is up against the wall and I like to sleep with my back facing the wall. If my back is facing the opposite side, I get the feeling that something is going to come and get me from behind. So I sleep with my back facing the wall.

- I do not like to put my head under the shower because it distorts my hearing and temporarily blinds me. Not real blindness but with water and such. And when my face is drenched and I can't open my eyes because of the water, I feel like something is standing outside the shower looking at me. So I wash my head and face really quickly when I'm in the shower.

- For some reason I find it creepy when I do or watch something on the computer and it's taking up most of the screen. Allow me to explain, has anyone here ever played Disney's Toon Town? You know how the whole screen is the game? Well it's kinda creepy to run around with the characters in my face and stuff. Also has anyone heard of the new movie called Orphan? Well if you go to the site you'll see a picture of the girl and the movie trailer. That is fine but after the trailer is finished it blinks to a screen with a bunch of family portraits slowly moving. I cannot stay on that site for more than 15 seconds. I keep thinking some creepy picture is going to pop up or that girl will suddenly appear. This is definitely my strangest phobia.

- I'm not sure if this is a fear or phobia or whatever but I don't like to get small cuts because I think that it'll get infected really quickly. It also just feels weird having a small opening on your finger or arm. I heard somewhere that there's a name for this but I'm not sure if what I was reading was real or not.

Zombie midgets. I once had this dream and they were destructive as hell. Their hunger for flesh and brains could not be fulfilled. After that dream even small children looked scary. Zombie midgets man Zombie midgets.

Getting sick suddenly and then dying.

Or HumanSnatcher sneaking up on me in the night and making me his little cub. *coldest of shivers down my spine*

1. People who stank. The really bad stank. Like fresh shit + sauerkraut kind of stank.
2. People with noticeable deformities. i.e. 4 fingers, no arm, etc.
3. House fires
4. Being murdered
5. Drowning
6. Cancer
7. Rare diseases only seen on Mystery Diagnosis
8. INSECTS. ALL KINDS.

Spiders are the big one. I once woke up in the middle of the night to find a spider crawling on my arm. I was just a little kid, but I think it traumatized me for life.

The other one is cotton balls. I don't hide or run away from them, but I absolutely can't stand the feel of them on my skin. If I open a bottle of aspirin and find one, I have to have someone remove it for me. My skin crawls just thinking of the way they feel...

I can't handle being around or having a spider anywhere near me and have in fact fainted twice over them. I've had this since my childhood, but ironicly didn't really get harmed by a spider until 2003, when I was bitten on my leg by a hobo spider in my sleep while sleeping on my cousin's couch on the 4th of July in Suquamish, WA. And yes, an expert IDed it positively, because I later rolled onto it and crushed it and my cousins helpfully saved it, not for medical reasons but rather they wanted a constant reminder of what was on the couch I slept on.

Within a week, my leg was seriously fucked due to mistreatment and infection, and I came close to losing it. After spending a few days on IV antibiotics, I was cured but still carry a huge scar on my leg from it.

For you arachnophobs out there, here's a pic of what bit me. Don't click it.

Sweet dreams.

I fear being crushed by an obese woman. I also don't like spiders unless they seem harmless and kill mosquitoes for me.

Well, a rational fear is that movie Barnyard and its related media.

Irrational... lobster robots.

What's the word for irrational hatred? Like of Hugh Jackman?
