What can you spend points on anymore?

So I bought a bunch of points cards years ago, only now they seem to have switched most everything from SpaceBucks to dollars.

As near as I can tell, I can't spend SpaceBucks on Windows 8 stuff.  I can't spend it on full games on the Xbox.

I guess it's only good for video rentals, "Arcade" games, and lamo "DLC"? 

I like that they're getting rid of spacebucks but wish I could just use it as cash in the Microsoft ecosystem...

Actually, you can spend it on full games. When purchasing, you just hit "X" and it switches the amount from real money to Microsoft points. It should be at the last screen on the console before you confirm purchase.

Edit: By the way, the reason I know this is because I have done it many times. I bought Sleeping Dogs a couple of weeks ago with 1200 MSP from the MicrosoftStore.com promo. I have also bought, Dead Island, El Shaddai, Crysis, DiRT 2, and various others.

If you plan on buying an XB1, these "space bucks" will be especially important.

To infinity and beyond! Also like Dark Rider said, you can use those space bucks on demand games by pressing X when you are in the purchase screen.

It can be spent on everything on the 360.  Don't know anything about the Windows 8 stuff but in the next few months all points are being converted to dollars so you'll probably be able to spend it on everything and anything then.
