What chain has the best policy on returning opened consoles/games?

Here is the deal.

I'm tempted to get a DS to play Mario Kart online.

I have a wireless router, but for some reason in my home a wireless signal doesn't work. My cable company went through 4 routers testing them, none work...yet right outside my door they work. So I have everything hardwired.

So I am not sure that the DS would connect or not, and I think probably wont.

This is why I want to know what chain store has the best policy for returning open consoles/games?

Your question makes little sense to me....but just to let you know there is an adapter being released for DS so you can play hardwired too.

Go to a game store, tell them your case, they might be sympathetic.

I wasn't sure if my TV would work with light gun games, so when I bought Time Crisis 3, I asked the guy if they would accept returns. He said, "If you can check it out tonight, I can make it work." Odds are he wasn't supposed to do that, but the light gun worked so it's all moot anyway.

I returned an opened GBA SP at Best Buy. Everything was intact and like new. I only played it once and decided I wouldn't use it enough (have since repurchased one). I wasn't sure if I would be able to return it opened, but they told me that as long as everything is there and it doesn't appear to be used they would take it back. I got a full refund with my receipt. This was about two years ago so they may have changed their policy.

Hmm, thanks everyone. Oh, and I know about the adapter...but it ain't free...and it means I will have to play the DS near my PC. Kinda killing the "cool" factor of it. I might as well just go play Xbox Live at that point.

Hardware is easier to return. Games, Movies, Music should not be accepted if they are open. Copyright laws.
