what games have you pre-ordered?

CAGiversary!
has anybody else taken advantage of that insane deal that ebgames/gamestop is running right now. I decided my ps2 was done for so I traded in 21 games. That allowed to me to get and fully pay for the edge card and game informer subscription, Call of Duty 3, NFS: Carbon and Red Steel.

Anybody else pre-order games yet and what are you all looking forward too!

My preorders are mostly DS games at this point, since it took EB forever to get first-party Wii games in the system. That said, I have Metal Slug Anthology, Trauma Center, Red Steel, Madden, Tony Hawk, and Zelda.

Tony Hawk will be switched to something (Marvel Alliance, probably, but maybe Elebits or ExciteTruck, though both of those just scream "price drop"). Metal Slug will also be put on something else if it does in fact miss launch. Though I'm guessing Zelda, Red Steel, Madden, Trauma Center and Wii Sports would be enough gaming to start me off. Good first-party gaming, good third-party support, and not a horrendous amount of money spent at launch.

I think the only thing I have pre-ordered right now is Zelda for Gamecube. I'm gonna switch it over to the Wii version in the next couple weeks.

I've had Zelda pre-ordered for over a year, and I switched it over to the Wii version last Friday. I also ended up pre-ordering Trauma Center.

So that's 2 games.

I also want to get Red Steel, but I may just pick it up at launch instead of pre-ordering it.

I tend to wonder how fast stuff will be sold as far as games and peripherals even at launch. I've definitely wanting to get ahold of a second nunchuck controller, maybe even an oldschool as well.

I can't wait for the wii sports, between that and the three games i'm going to have I'll be not going to work for a week or so I'm thinking!!!

The guy at gamestop told me they are getting very limited #'s of zelda so it would be mindful to reserve it now.

EDIT: oh mine is zelda

LOL  did he try and sell you insurance on your game disk for $3 more too?

No? should he have...?

I've got the Wii vrsion of Zelda preordred at FYE. Not going to preorder anymore games as I figure some place where I get the sysetm (TRU, FYE, etc.) will force a bundle. Likely I'll play whatever I get from there and sell them, or if really not interested, I'd just return them right away.

Interested in Red Steel, Madden, and maybe Excite Truck. But if I don't have to get any of those, I'll wait on a sale/price drop/reviews, whatever.

Is the deal just the trade 3 for an extra ten? Any deal towards Wii games?

I wanted to trade in my PS2 and games to try to pre-order a couple of Wii games, but ehh, I opted against it since I don't own THAT many PS2 games - and trading it in for like, what, 1 or 2 games for Wii - it's not worth it to me.

I'm not planning to pre-order anything, I'm just going to do the wait and try to get all I want then.

The deal is trade 3 next gen games and get and extra 10 bucks trade credit. so for every three you get 10 bucks on top of whatever you get for the actual games. you can put the store credit towards whatever i'm assuming. i didn't reserve a wii with it because you can't yet. It's not a wii game specific deal, that's just what I used the store credit for is all.

Ok. Just checking. I did this when this deal originally came out which is how I have $200 in credit ^_^
Thanks.

You actually get 20% towards Zelda (30% towards any Wii game with a coupon in GI, I think), which theoretically you could get stacked on top of the 3/$10.

I took advantage of the trade 3 get 10. Traded in 15 gmaes and my gamecube for 220.

Preorders paid off the edge card and got me a free year of gi.
- Red Steel - 5 down
- Trauma Center - 5 down
- Zelda - Paid off(53)
- Elebits - 5 down

with 150 on my card ready for that wii preorder :D

Wow. I need to pick up that GI. I guess borders or even EB has it.

I've got:

Zelda
Red Steel
Rayman
Tony Hawk
Trauma Center

I think I might trade Rayman off for Madden or something. I dunno. I want to play Rayman, but it doesn't seem to be rubbing me the right way these days.

I also have a little over 250 sitting on a debit card ready to rock for the pre-order of the system itself.

nothing right now, i try not to do anything too far in advance and only things that i know ill pick up. i think the next thing ill preorder is probably going to be medievil: ii

Wii: Zelda, Trauma Center and Metal Slug
PS2: Valkyrie Profile 2, FF12 LE, Mortal Kombat Armageddon LE
DS: Castlevania
PC: Guild Wars Nightfall LE, NWN2 LE

I'm going to pre-order Zelda today. I really want to find another game, but I'm not sure what. I'm thinking about excite truck, but I don't know. Red Steel looks tempting, but I want to see reviews first.

I'm just the opposite. It seems with each new vid or batch of pics I get more interested in Rayman. My love for Mario Party died on the N64, so this looks like a more worthy successor than any of the Cube MP titles.

As for me. No preorders. I just don't see the point when you can walk into any store on launch day and walk out with your choice of titles. I'd prefer to have my money collecting interest for me until launch time, not sitting in a bank collecting interest for EB/Gamestop. But hey, maybe that's just me, since they are wildly successful, which I will never understand.
