I sold a guy a copy of Star Wars Battlefront for $12 off craigslist. He came and picked it up and after 2 hrs. he emails me and says he's getting DREs everytime he tries to play it. He wants to get back his $12.

What do you guys think I should do? I see it as it's his problem - I've never had a single problem with it and I've tried it on my working PS2 and a DRE'd PS2 that I fixed up. And doesn't everyone know that it's all sales final?

He picked up from my house but I've got his address also, we're probably like 20-30 minutes away from each other. But seriously, the guy would be wacko if he wanted to start something over $12.

$12 isn't anything and I would give it back if he proves that he's getting DREs (I wouldn't even care if it's his systems fault, heck, I even offered to help try and fix the PS2 if that's the problem ).

I didn't even think of asking him to try it on a friend's PS2 or something. Good advice.

Tell him to buy a can of compressed air and clean the lense. If its getting DREs its probably out of warranty anyways, so he can crack it open.
