Whats Better in your opinion Xbox or Playstation 2?

I'd have to say x-box. Internal memory and some games with your own soundtrack. Pluse the x-box is on my bigscreen. Ps2 is on a triny 27 inch.
 
If you go out looking for a single console to buy and be hands down better than it's competition and provide every single game you want to play, you're always going to end up disappointed...

I'd say PS2. Halo and Halo 2 doesn't compete with MGS 3, GTA :SA, Jak1-3, R&C 1-3, plus tons of RPGs.

although i own all three and gamecube is my favorite.
 
If you need to buy one console, it should be PS2, because it has the most versatile, and abundant library.

If you want to get the best graphics and online gaming experience(although it is a pay service), get the Xbox. The Xbox really is a great value right now with the free games. Top Spin is superb.

I also agree with him, PS2 has more exclusives but XBOX has better versions of almost all games on both systems.
 
I emailed ms about sending me the free game since I had a x-box since launch! They pretty much laughed at me! Said it was a new promotion and I would not get it! Cheap bastards!
 
I have PS2 and Gamecube. Initially I love my GCN, but when I got the PS2 things changed. Then Istarted playing N64 a lot until I started playing .hack again last week.

Overall, I say PS2>GCN

No comment on Xbox, I don't have one. (I played it in the store and didn't like it much, but first impressions aren't reliable)
 
I am taking a pre-emptive lock on this one. I've been here long enough to see 1000 of these threads, and they all turned into flame wars. Plus, it's a repost that pops up weekly.
