Well rumors have been going around about this video. Whether it's a viral video by valve, a fanmade video, or something in between. Whatever the case it's an interesting video to watch. If it is a viral video used to entice excitement for the next half life, here's a few ideas as to what it could be about:

Dude in this video will be a new character in a game, blah blah

The box could possibly be whats in that ship that the resistance and the combine are after in episode 2

And an idea I like is that the "What's in the box" could be talking about valve's next package deal, something akin to the orange box.

A sign said something about radiation, so that probably explains the suit.
