What's the cheapest price for Converse Low-top all stars

hiccupleftovers

CAGiversary!
So yeah, I want to get a pair and was wondering if anyone knew what's a good price for these. I've seen them generally for $44.99 now, they used to be $39.99 at most stores (damn economy). I think I've seen them at a store for $34.99 now. Is this the cheapest or a good deal for them?

Also, I know Famous Footwear have their B1G150% off sale right now, and there had been an extra 20% off coupon, does anyone have this coupon for them? I don't mind buying two pairs of shoes at once.

See if you have any Converse outlets nearby. We have one just outside of Pittsburgh, and the prices are pretty fair, even better when they occasionally have a B1G1 half off/free sale.

My girlfriend has 100+ pairs of All-Stars, and that collection grows weekly.

One-Stars < All-Stars

Check EBay and consider Vintage - MADE IN USA are the only true Converse!

I collect/wear them and have found new/almost new for $10 to $20 shipped...

What size/color/style (hi or low) are you seeking?

Yeah, I've seen those before, but all my stores carry them in the ugliest brown. I think in black they wouldn't look bad, but still, they aren't your all stars

There are several nike outlets near by, but no converse outlets. Strange, I had never really thought of a converse outlet, as we have three or four outlet malls here and would have thought we'd have one.

The cheapest I've seen nearby for a pair is $30 after you purchase 2 for a BOGO. I'm probably going to get a pair primarily in black/blue or maybe the orange I've seen somebody in. What colors do you guys like?

Also, sorry for the double bump. I'm doing this from my phone.

I don't if anyone is looking for a pair(s), but Rack Room Shoes is having a B1G1 50% off and makes the shoes come out to $30 a pair. They have the standard black and then some sweet colors. I managed to get the cashier to allow the 50% to continue after the first pair of shoes, so I got a pair in black, navy blue, and gray. I might go back for the red/orange that they have. Not sure.

i remember these used to be $25 like 5 years ago, then they somehow jumped for 45 and i've been buying chinese look-alike 'converse' for $10-15. lol.
I never see any good deals on them either - never heard of rack room shoes...

these shoes suck. the comfort is non existant. but they do look good especially if you break. i got a pair for $35 2 years ago (blak/blu high tops). chucks are generally overpriced but i'd say 35 or less is the buy point. sorry but ive got no info on a good price. I see them for 40 or more these days at my malls in NJ

btw...what i like to do with the high tops is fold them down (outward) so they are almost like lows or mids. its easy to do since these are thin pieces of fabric. looks pretty sweet

I don't know. I'm not going to say the rival my Nike Shox Ride (look them up, it's like gliding on air) or my expensive Asics (which I run with), but I find the Converse to be relatively comfortable.

Rack Room Shoes basically looks like a Famous Footwear (and its sister companies), if you have one of those.

Yeah, they used to be around $25-29 depending on your shoe size just a few years back. They started going up in price once it became hip to wear them all the time. Same thing happened with the OG Vans and slip ons.

And yeah, OP, you're not going to find these shoes at a bargain price.. mostly just $3-$5 off. If anything, look for a BOGO or B1G150% like other people have mentioned.

I don't know, shoes in general seem to have gone up.

Crackdown on sweatshops?

Maybe.. but the shoes I've favored since like freshman year of high school maintained steady (adidas Forums and adidas SS2). I've just noticed the Chucks and Slipons being more expensive because I'm more hesitant to buy them nowadays.

Chucks have gone up because their popularity has recently skyrocketed. They are "in" again so stores are charging much more for them.

Yeah, I don't get it so much either. I just need a pair to replace my old beat up black pair. i went a bit nuts with the BOGO 50% off sale, and got 3 but still, kind of weird they are so popular/in style again. I did see a badass green one at Journeys, though.
