Mine would have to be JSRF, but that was cuz it was free and I then picked up Morrowind later when I saw that it went for 29.99 @ BB.
 
Mine was Dead or Alive 3, I was amazed by the great graphics that were absent on the PS2 and the awesome details to certain body parts :wink: .
 
By the games yall are saying, it seems you were a little late buying the Xbox. Did ANYONE here buy the Xbox the first Christmas it was out besides me?
 
I'm sorry, did I just have a major brain fart? I thought Halo came out after Christmas, or did you just not buy any games for the Xbox until Halo came out?
 
actuall now that I think about progect gotham racing was the first game I" played well maybe it was wreckless ?I can't rember i know it was a racing game just can't remeber what one!
 
OK, my bad, I didn't realize Halo was a launch title. I mean, hey, I have to keep up with everything Xbox since I am the master of it, so it just gets hard to remember everything sometimes :D .

Hey, it was a wild time, I was hung-over for two months after the release because of all the celebrating. And it was my first console-mastering I had done, I was young and senseless, alright? Just give me a break :cry: .
 
Halo, because I could only afford one game when I bought the system at "midnight launch." Went home at 12:30 and hooked it up and played through the first level.

Was a little disappointed, actually. May have had something to do with the fact I had just spent almost 400 bucks though :lol:
 
Was young and seenless! But old enough to get drunk? SOunds like you STILL haven't grown up yet! I bet you just hate when people say ps2 is better then x-box!
 
On my x-box, project gotham. On X-Box, Tony Hawk Proskater 2x, shortly followed by halo.
Still feel the series hasn't eclipsed tony hawk 2x in the fun factor..
 
It was either mechassualt or JSRF. Probably JSRF because my xboxes name is noodles. Both made me wonder why I bought the box. But now all thoughts of why are gone.
 
When and picked up Halo with my xbox on launch day...i was pretty amazed with it when i first got it. I didn't buy any other xbox games for like almost a year after that though.
 
Knights of the Old Republic. I bought my box a week or two after Knights lanched. I also bought Halo on the same day, and it was the second Xbox game I played(not counting demos I had played it stores).

What if I DO hate it when ppl say PS2 is better than Xbox?
 
I think it was GTA3, came with the bundle I picked up at BB a little over a month ago. (I try not to be an early adopter :) )
 
JSRF...when it dirst came out. This and Shenmue 2 are th 2 reasons i even bought an xbox....odd that i still havent beaten shenmue 2 all this time later
 
I bought my Xbox on the launch of JSRF bc it was the first must play game on XBOX imo. if not for sega support id probally have waited till KOTOR released
 
I would always play halo with my buddies until I got one then I played rallisport and bought halo a short time later.
 
Gunvalkyrie. It was one of the $10 used games I got when I first got my Xbox. Alongside JSRF and some other game I have since forgotten about. I know it's awful but the reviews I read made the control scheme sound real interesting and it was only $10. Most games deserve a try for $10.
 
The Box was the last next gen system I purchased. In hind sight that was rather stupid since it's the best system out there. I started with KOTOR, then got Splinter Cell, Shenmue II, and Sega GT/JSRF. I haven't put the controller down since, except to play Disgaea.
