when is TRU having another buy 2 and get 1 free deal?

We always have it around September or October. No new deals are going to really come out until then, besides our 15% off clearance deal, which you could use to get some games for rather cheap.
No idea. Last year might have been the last of this legendary deal.
What makes you say that?

I love that deal over the past few years, I've gotten:

Tales of Symphonia
Star Ocean 3
Paper Mario 2
-$100

24: The Game
Valkyrie Profile 2
Okami
-$90

TRU switched ownership late last year, also would TRU do this sale for next generation software that cost $60?

They would if their profit margin was down for the year...which it isn't. I agree that the change in ownership has shifted the focus of the sales and promotions that TRU runs, so we might not ever see a full blown B2G1 sale anymore... :(

TRU had already changed hands long before the most recent B2G1, which still happened the same as always. Now that the new generation is in full-swing, it may be toned down, but there still is hope.

Judging by the recent onslaught of coupons, I'd assume that b2g1 will remain intact.

Man, this thread makes me remember when TRU did their first major Green Tag clearance on last gen video games. I went f'ing BONKERS buying TONS and TONS of games. Easily 2 dozen, some I've never touched.

Anyways, they're usually in October with a random console about 2 weeks earlier than the rest.

Even if the ownership change makes a difference, the price shouldn't. I took advantage of the deal last year with 360 games, all of them $59.99.
Is it true about the 3 for 2?
As I posted in the other thread, three for two = 3 games for the price of 2. In other words, buy 2, get 1 free.
