When will Ninja Gaiden's price drop?

Does anyone know if/when the price for Ninja Gaiden is supposed to drop? I've been thinking about getting it, but its still a little too pricy for me. thanks
 
Well, pretty much everywhere I go I see it for $30, so if it does drop again, it will only be to $20, unless there's a clearance. Best off going and getting it from Best Buy with a GGC.

OK, I guess I gotta take that back. Both EB and Gamestop want $50 new, although I could have sworn that I've seen it for $30 in the last few weeks. I would just wait for a sale, cuz for a while it seemed like it was on sale every week for about $30 or so.
 
I've never seen it for $30, but I haven't been looking since I bought it long ago, but a quick search to EBgames and Gamestop shows still 49.99
 
I've only seen it new for $50 at Target, Fry's, Best Buy and TRU....

I'm thinking of getting it at the TRU B2G1 sale this week.
 
I have $30 burned into my brain, probably because that's what it was on sale for practically every week after it came out. fucking Tecmo, they should drop that already, it's been out about a year already.

I've been wondering about this game too. I didnt buy it at $50 because I heard the game is too hard. But since its gotten a lot of good feedback, Id figure I give it a shot at a lower price.
 
It will drop when people stop buying it for full price. Good luck figuring out when that will happen. Took 2 years for Halo to drop.

yes agreed... i've been waiting for it to drop... but they just refuse.
 
EB was offering it for $29.99 - coupons (22.50 a/c) but its back up to $39.99 now. Good enough for me. Keep checking back on the price, might come back periodically.
 
Well a couple of months before the sequel comes out they will probably make it a platinum hit so then it'll be $20 for you, so I'd guess in 8-9 months.
 
I don't think DOA XBV ever got a price drop, although many places started selling it for less. Maybe Ninja Gaiden will be the same way.

why hasn't halo become a ph? anyways, I just hope they release a directors cut with all of the hurricane packs in it.

Halo is a PH, it's just more expensive than the regular PH games.

Its not a PH until it comes in PH packaging and sells for $20.

Tecmo games keep their prices for a long time. DOA 3 didn't got platinum until relatively recently. Fatal Frame has never dropped. DOAXBV never dropped. I doubt if NG or DOAU will drop in price very soon.
 
KOTOR also seemed to take forever to drop in price. DOA3 became a plat hit, I don't know why DOA XBV hasn't also become a Plat hit. But I'm willing to bet that NG isn't going to go Plat untill 2005.
 
You know I think its kind of funny when 8 months-1 year seems like a long time for a game to drop in price. Remember when most super nintendo games never dropped in price until after the system was gone.

Yeah, I bought it through gamefly for $39.99 at release, played it once and sold it for $39.99 on ebay right away. Then after the Hurricane packs I bought it again on ebay for $28.... and I'm not selling it again. One of the few games that is worth the full $50. Personally I'd say buy it on ebay and play the hell out of it. With the DLC it's like 40-50 hours of gameplay.
