When Will Platinum come out in USA?

I am just wondering as I would like to know so I don't pick up another copy of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.

I've done some research, but I don't think there is a date set yet. Can anyone confirm that?
 
Alright, I'll just get it then most likely. When will Nintendo make a new handheld console, instead of making variations of the DS. The DSI doesn't even seem that much different, sure they added the SD card slot, and the camera which is pretty nice, but it's not going to be to different.

Hopefully they give you a SD card with the console itself.
 
The original GameBoy lasted 9 years before they finally came out with the GBC.

I think you might be looking at a similar lifespan for the DS. Both the GBC and GBA lasted only 3 years, but the DS has been out for 4 years now, and the DSi won't be released in some territories until late 2009. You won't see a true next-gen successor anytime soon (unless the DSi flops and they just can't sell any more units because everyone has one already and doesn't wanna upgrade).

Droenix, you're right, there is not a set date yet. Typical Nintendo style...TBA 2009 from its last press release. But yea, I would also imagine an April release.
