When will there be an xbox price drop in '06?

I've been waiting for a while now for an xbox price drop (since the last price drop was about April of last year). I'm thinking in the middle of January the price will be cut to $100 with the release of the xbox 360. Plus there should be an after Christmas sale.

What do you guys think?

Maybe around E3 in May they might have a drop. If they did not drop it before Christmas, they probably are going to wait a while.

I was thinking E3 too.

I'm just pissed because my PS2 is fried and I'd rather get a new Xbox than another PS2. PS2 has the better controller... but Xbox has the better everything else....

...except God of War.

Should I wait 5 months to save $50... Hell, a Jew can't pass up a sale.

I figure they would drop in price when PS3 comes out or when PS2 drops in price.

Lets see MS raised the price to $170 with the forced bundle. Also the original Xbox is out of production, meaning there wont be any more units being shipped. It would be good just to drop this back to $150

That's another thing that I want to address... Xbox bundles suck. I mean, I'd be willing to dish out the extra 20-30 bucks for an extra controller and Halo (1/2). Or how about a $180 Halo 3-pack bundle? Come on MS!
