www.bmgmusic.com is the best, but you'll want to make sure they carry what you want first. Probably no misfits, but overall it's the best.
Shipping is about $2.80 per CD, and there are always buy one get 2 or 3 free etc.
You only have to buy one at full price to complete your membership requirement.
 
Ok I know this is going to sound like spam or some crap like that, but you can join BMG music service through the flatscreen link in my sig. I guess they're somewhat good depending on how much they charge to ship their cd. I don't know the exact details for that link other than it says you can get 12 for the price of 1. I would mainly pay attention to how much they charge to ship each cd, even the "free" ones, as well as how many you have to buy in x number of years as part of some type of commitment. Columbia House I've also heard good things about, as well as bad things, but I guess you just have to plan out the way to make this places benefit you.
 
BMG doesnt have shit for what i listen to

all that appealed to me was bad religion and ramones so i dont want to waste my money on that one

im really looking to complete my misfits collection(i only have three- collection 1&2 and project 1950'S) and my offspring collection(i only have-conspiracy of one and splinter)

i would like to get some other cd's as well(rancid-out come the wolves, less than jake-hello rockview, and that last anti flag CD)

im just into ska and punk really and BMG doesnt have much

Get the 12 for 1.

Get your 4 free, wait for the Buy 1 Get 2/3 Free Deal. Get your obligation.

Get your last 7 free.

Then, sign up YOURSELF again for a referral account. Same deal but you get another 4? (I forget if it's 3, 4, or 5) cd's for the referral.

Once you have that, cancel the old account, fulfill the pattern I just gave above.

Things come out to be 3.50 a cd or so. Shipped with Tax.

Of course, if you're not willing to wait 3-4 months for a cd to come to BMG or you have very indie tastes, then BMG might noe be the thing for you.

I find the selection overall to be very good.

AND if you're someone who has trouble sending in things on time (you can have it done by email too), then you should avoid this or you might find yourself in trouble

There is no one as good as bmg in the sense that after you get you 7 free buy the 1 at club price which is 22 after tax and then get you 4 free cancel your account they will give you an offer for 12 or 15 more free cds and then you buy the one at club price then cancel again and repeat the cycle.
 
www.columbiahouse.com -- They have the same 12 CDs for free (plus tax and shipping), but a seriously horrible obligation that follows: you must buy 5, yes FIVE, CDs at regular price within 2 years.

BMG is definitely the way to go. 7 CDs for free, only 1 obligation, then 4 more CDs for free. The best thing is, you can wait to buy your obligation when they are having a "Buy one, get two free" promo. In the end, you wind up with 15 CDs for a really low price.

Neither of the clubs have much in the way of punk, hardcore, metal, indie, emo, ska, etc. But they sure have a lot of older music (I'd personally grab Ozzy and GNR) to beef up your collection.

Other than those? I don't know, but I'm sure they don't have deals that can touch BMG.

It's a really shitty deal. You'll wind up spending $100 on obligations alone, not to mention the $35 for your "free" CDs. This equals about $8 per CD with a horrible selection for the type of music you listen to. You'd be better off to check sites like www.interpunk.com and www.smartpunk.com and just grab the CDs you're looking for.

If you're still pretty young, just do what every kid does at least once in their life: Use a fake name, get 12 CDs from Columbia House and 7 CDs from BMG and forget about it until all the collection agencies start sending you stuff. They'll stop eventually, and with a name like "Heywood Jablowme" it's pretty hard to throw on a credit record. But then again, I wouldn't suggest potentially ruining your credit and stealing CDs, now would I?

As a side note. If you're looking for old Misfits, just grab the Coffin Box Set -- it averages $50 on ebay, and has just about every song from the Danzig-era.

i was looking into that misfits set(its not the same with danzig anymore) i think ill get it at sam goody and get one of those replay cards as well and get a free CD with the money i get off the replay card(i spend quite a bit at sam goody, they have alot of good deals

I've had 4 accounts in the last 6 months or less ... i figure all told I've gotten at least 70 "free" cds. Of course, I did this back in high school too and had a few accounts through the years back then.

they have a HUGE HUGE selection of new and used (mostly used) CDs, Records, and even DVDs

You can pick up new and used CDs for VERY CHEAP.

So if you are in NJ, you may want to check them out.
 
Just a quick reminder: the artists do NOT get paid for the "free" CDs since they're considered promotional expenses, not revenue. So this is as good for the artists as you downloading the music, and it has the additional moral problem of financially supporting the RIAA.
