where can i get some new or used wii controllers for a decent price?

i ordered some on amazon market place, got imitation chinese junk that i'm still trying to dispute.

no store around me has any, none of the game stores even have used ones, and i'm afraid to go to ebay because of the influx of imitations.

I think you need to define what you mean by a 'decent price'. I don't really recommend buying used or 3rd party controllers, but some people seem to like the Nyko Wand. You might want to check them out, since their MSRP is only $30.

i guess, in this case, i mean "retail"

my assumption is they discontinued the wii controller in favor of the wii plus controller bundle, for 49.99. i don't want a wii plus dongle, i don't want to spend that much, i just wanted some official controllers for at or around 39.99 each. i couldnt find any anywhere around me. no used ones, no stores have them any longer around me, and they shared my assumption. no one cag seemedc to have any ond there isn't a real easy way to find some.

i was looking seriously at the nyko's, but they are butt ugly. i ended up buying 2 used official controllers on ebay for about $45. i hope they aren't worn out.

Places that people DON'T go to will have them still in stock. Like Scorch said, K-mart. Other places are Sears, Sports Authority (yes, they sell Wii shit), and maybe FYE/other music media stores.

This is kind of a stretch, but if you are willing to work for it you could get some Wiimotes for really cheap ->

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wii-bundle/14047766

-Includes Wiimote + motion plus bundle AND Nerf Strike Bundle for $40
-Online only and ship to home only so you have to add about $2 shipping and $2-3 tax
Total = $45

You can return the Nerf Strike Bundle in store for $20 cash back (The Wiimote bundle and Nerf Bundle ring separately on the order for $20 each for some reason)

So after shipping + tax (and the return) you have a Wiimote and motion plus for about $25. If you only wanted the Wiimote, you could sell the motion plus for even more savings.

Like I said, it's a bit of work (mainly the drive to walmart to return the Nerf Bundle), but I was able to pick up two Wiimotes + motion plus bundles for under $50 doing this.
