Where to find large pixel art?

My wife was watching "spouse vs house" on TLC, where they give the husband $25k to renovate three rooms without the wife's help/input.
This guy had awesomely displayed pixel art of glassjaw joe and mario (mario 3 jumping style). The glassjaw joe was "life-sized". Mario was maybe 2' tall.

I would love to have some large pixel art for my theater room or cube wall at work. Anyone familiar with these items?

I purchased a number of decals recently from Ebay and have seen some that get to that size (they were mostly car decals) but you never know what you will find. I know a lot of these places will make custom sizes so you might be able to get em to size it to whatever you want.

You can make your own pretty easily just by taking a screen shot and scaling it up, using colored panels as pixels. Post-it notes make a good prototyping method.

One person I know just covered a wall in colored Post-its until he had the scene just right, then used a clear shellac over that to make it permanent.
