Wheres a good place to get a decent sports coat/blazer?

Vintage/thrift stores. It's where I get mine, and they're waaaaaay cheaper and of (if you look and you're lucky) decent quality.

Good quality stuff (and some cheaper stuff) and have some decent sales.

And the Kohls near me sucks. Stopped by earlier this afternoon, and the cheapest "passable" one was a Dockers, but it had their logo plastered all over the buttons. Hopefully there is something at the thrift store, otherwise, big hole in my wallet it is!

I'm going to go against popular opinion and naysay the Macys. Better off to get a quality suit, esp now when almost everywhere is marking formal wear down to ridiculous prices. In fact, these days you can probably end up shopping at a quality place and for $20 more getting a really decent suit.

I was in NYC and they had some great deals even at places like Banana Republic and Ben Sherman. 1/2 off suits - I even got a Ben Sherman sports jacket for $75, really happy with that one.
