Which Car?

Planning on buying one of these cars in the next few days, whcih one should i get? They both are the same price btw if that helps, $2000.

1996 Chevy Cavalier 2 Door Coupe

Black Exterior with Grey Cloth Interior
Power Locks
Power Steering
FW Drive
CD Player
Cruise Control
Its basically the base model with a few extras



1996 Saturn SL2 4 Door

111k Miles
Purple Exterior with Grey Cloth Interior
FW Drive
Power Locks
Power Steering
Cruise Control
Power Windows
Sunroof
Alloy Wheels


Both cars run good and have working a/c and they are both from the same dealer which i trust, i have bought 4 vehicles from him before.

Any good or bad things i should know about?

while i dont know anything about these cars I'd take the saturn. 4 doors, less miles, power windows.

If the dealer didn't do it already for you, make sure to get a carfax for both to make sure there's no nasty surprises in either car's history. Other than that, I agree with dt778 to go for the saturn with 30k less miles. Also, according edmunds the saturn had better jd power ratings for that year and currently has a slightly higher value.

yeah ive already had a carfax report on both and they both have a clean history, no major accidents or anything like that

Even though I'm not the biggest Saturn fan, I would choose the SL2 in this situation. You are getting a lot more car (power windows, alloys, sunroof) and saving yourself 30,000 miles.
