Which do you value more Gamestop PowerupXP points or MyBestBuy points?

I think I would say MyBestBuy points at the moment but curious on what other people think.

Lets say you had to spend $250 at either store and would get the same items.

Let's also say your elite and get 10% more points and it isn't a gaming item so you don't get double with GCU and with Gamestop your PUR Pro and the items are new, which store would you buy from? Also assume the distance from your residence is about the same for both.

That would be $5 back in MyBestBuy Points plus 25 points due to you being elite I think or 2750 points Gamestop points. I'm sorry if the number of points is higher or lower.

I value GS points at 1,000 points = $1 since you can buy $50 GS Gift Cards for 50,000 points. I know people like to redeem their points on used game coupons but that doesn't appeal to me since I almost never buy my games used.

For every hundred dollars you spend at GS you get 1,000 points or $1; the equivalent of 1% back which is nothing short of terrible. I know sometimes they have coupons that allow you to get double or *GASP* quadruple points but that is the exception not the rule.

I tend to get 6% back at Best Buy and sometimes more using my BB RZ CC; and for at least a month earlier in the year I was getting 10% back in points during a BB RZ CC promotion.

Points are much more valuable at BB. It's not even really a point worth debating.

 
Gamestop points, obviously. So many great rewards. Recycled posters, licensed sweat bands, crappy coupons - it's all so great!
 
My Best Buy, mainly because I buy other crap besides video games at Best Buy. I had two Power Up Pro accounts and both expired due to inactivity.
